We collect as little personal data as we can. This page explains what we do collect and why.
Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this site is the operator named in the Imprint.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we receive the fields you fill in (name, company, email, your message). We use them only to reply to your enquiry. We do not sell, share, or use them for marketing.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested path — to operate the service and protect against abuse. Logs are retained for a short period and then deleted.
Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies. The site stores a single preference in localStorage — your chosen colour theme — which never leaves your browser.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to information, correction, deletion, and portability of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@herzelab.com.
